This is one of the worst Electify America charging stations I've ever seen. A combination of this being a mall and needing way more than 4 chargers, along with HALF of the chargers being out of commission. How does that even happen? So there was a long line for the 2 chargers there - ofc the people weren't in the cars because...it's a mall. Just left after 10 mins of waiting in line. Wow.

I recently charged my vehicle at the Electrify America station at the Target in Springfield, Virginia, and I was impressed by the setup. This station features three 350 kW stalls, perfect for a quick charge, along with one 27.5 kW stall. All the chargers were in great working condition, which made the experience smooth and efficient. While the amenities here are pretty basic, there is a nice area to walk your dog, which is a thoughtful touch for pet owners. Unfortunately, I arrived after the Target had closed, so I didn’t get to check out the restroom facilities, but I’m sure they are clean, as expected from Target. Overall, this station offers reliable and fast charging, making it a solid choice for those in the area. It’s a convenient stop, especially with the 350 kW options available.

In general this is a good charger, but keep in mind it's at the mall so it will get crowded on weekends and there are only 3 DC fast charging stalls here. I have had some bad charging experiences here, sometimes due to chargers delivering slow speeds or some chargers just not connecting at all. I charge here at least 3-4 times per month, and I'd say 80%+ of the time it works and I have no issues. Definitely check the EA app for availability before you make the trip here, because sometimes the mall parking lot is tough to navigate with all of the traffic during peak hours.
