Chargers here are constantly failing and you have to start over. I've called many times to inform them and nothing has been done.

Chargers are always broken and this place is so much more expensive than EVgo. I'm spending double the amount I normally spend here because EVgo decided that you have to have a minimum of $40 available on your debit card in order to charge there now and I don't know always have that on my card.

Always have issues that require calls into support who are quite frankly complete A-holes. I recommend EVgo their chargers suck but the staff is WAY cooler, Electrify America just sucks all around.

We have completely given up on using this bank of chargers.  They disconnect early in the charge more often than not. Last straw was when we got hit with an idling fee when it disconnected five minutes into a charging session.  And that’s a fee Electrify America doesn’t want to refund.  Avoid this location.

Used Charger #5 yesterday. The app wouldn't authenticate and I was in a rush so I just paid with my credit card. It asked for my phone number to text me when it stopped charging. I set an alarm for the rough amount of time it would take to charge up.

I came back to my car and found that it stopped charging after 15 minutes, and so it sat there for 30 minutes and I got charged for 20 minutes of idling time (you get 10 minutes grace period). I didn't get any sort of communication or notification from EA when the charging had stopped.

I called customer service and told them what happened. They said basically "it was your car, not our charger" and as a result there was nothing they could do. I asked for more detail and they had none. I pointed out that their system said it would notify me when charging stopped, and still they said nothing could be done about it.

I asked nicely if instead of a refund, could they just credit our account since we are a frequent customer/user and they said no as well.

Oh and it took 15 minutes before I got a hold of anyone.

So I didn't get the full charge, I got charged the money as if I did, and then I wasted another 15 minutes trying to get it resolved.

I guess we'll plan to use the other charging providers moving forward.
