Having lived in Arizona for 30 years I would like to offer EVgo some Desert Rat advice. When you place any kind of video screen in the Arizona sun please, please, please have a simple flexible screen cover that can be lifted out of the way during use and used to shade the screen in bright sunlight. The screen on the unit I just used was completely sun baked into uselessness. It was unreadable. I had to rely on my phone app to start and stop my charging session. Most banks and other kiosk services have figured out this basic reality in Arizona. I am amazed that a company that has installed stations worth millions of dollars can’t seem to figure out how to install a $40 sunscreen over a video screen.

Needed a quick charge to get home - 20 miles cost me $10...the flat $2.99 credit card fee then something like $.69/wh. I rarely use charging stations but the times I have, I got a whole lot more for a whole lot less. EV users don't want to download 20 different apps and make 20 different accounts to charge their vehicles. I guess theres a discount if you do but I was just in need of a quick 20 miles. That said...it did charge very fast and I didnt have any issues with anything, so very satisfactory there! Probably got 20 miles in about 3-4 min.

I have a 2 year free charging plan and I hate it. I wish I could get a rebate back for unused charging. There is always an issue when trying to charge at EVgo locations. The charging spots are usually filthy with unreadable screens and trash lying around. The 350 stations rarely work, one side is usually always broken. I’ve had better luck with the 100 stations there. It’s always a roll of the dice with this location. Definitely not EvGos best.

This place is disgusting. Dirty, beer bottles, cans and spilled alcohol make this place smell awful when you get out of your car. Worse yet - people plug their cars in and then walk away...FOR HOURS! This is a fast-charge station and it only takes 20-30 mins to get your EV to 80%. Don't bother calling customer service. You'll get someone in a far away land who can't (and doesn't) do anything. I'm going to stick with Charge'n Go stations in an emergency next time. At least they will charge a buck or more a minute once your car is done and 5-10 mins has elapsed. This place's policy says you can stay plugged in for "2 hours" ...but even then, there's no incentive for the person to leave anytime quickly. Nope. One car was unconnected but kept their spot! Absolutely inconsiderate/rude behavior. The neighborhood is definitely not safe either, along with being in a Walmart parking lot.
