Save yourself the trouble and go to the Electrify America down the road. I waited ten minutes for someone NOT CHARGING THEIR EV to move their car out of the charging stall. Then I kept getting an error saying "Cash Only" which is interesting because there's no place to put cash in. Even AFTER downloading the app I still could not pay to charge my car because their app was so confusing. I can happily report from the Electrify America charger that my car is charging perfectly and there's no session fee.

Don't have any account with evgo. Instructions are not clear. I couldn't use my credit card on two of the stalls, they just do nothing when you use your credit card for some reason last one worked with Apple Card, but non worked with capital one credit cards, just stupid non-maintained charging stations. No we are not ready for EVs

I just started using EVGO on my BOLT EV. Our home charger was needing repair. At first I found the display screen difficult to navigate and unresponsive when I chose the option I needed. Then, in the app, I noticed the autocharge option. Once I chose that, it was easy. I just plug it in and it activates the charge and payment. Set your vehicle to autocharge in the app to make it easy!

To me, being a new EV owner, I drove up to what looked like four charging stations with only two parking spots, so that's still a little confusing, but everything else was a pleasure being my first charge on the car. I set up the app while there from the google play store, created an account, signed in, and started charging. It only took forty minutes to reach 80%, so I am happy so far.
