Only got 73 kW and no one else was charging so, it’s not very fast…it is also priced a little higher than most at 0.56 kWh, but there are not many non-Tesla chargers in this area so, I’m glad it’s here.

It runs evconnect now, not Shell. I had no issues connecting and initiating a charge.

It took 30 minutes to go from 25% to 60%

Like everything Duke Energy does, this station is a huge price gouge and failure. One station didn't work at all, the other one took 20 minutes just to set up the ridiculous Shell payment app instead of taking a card or Apple Pay like the rest of the modern free world accepts. Once I finally got it to work, it would only charge at half the advertised speed. So we sat with a screaming baby in the car for 51 agonizing minutes. Skip this station!

Used this charger so many times. I have an Kia Ev9 and it takes about an hour to get me from 20 to 100%  we walk around town while it charges. Super convient bathroom in the visitor center that's almost always clean. Feel safe leaving the car and walking around. The rates aren't bad I usually spend around 20$ to 30$

Not Tesla friendly. We rented a Tesla by Turo and it didn’t include the EV adapter for fast charging. Arrgghh. We had to drive all over Franklin and Highlands in order to find chargers. All of them were low voltage. Not being a Tesla owner, we didn’t realize the importance of having these adapters and how inconvenient it is to spend your weekend trying to find places to charge. Can’t understand how the best selling EV in America doesn’t have access to all of these charging stations.

Charging worked great through the Shell app. We had to plug and unplug a couple of times to get it going, but after that it worked great. We walked around downtown and were fully charged quickly.
