Triangle Stop - Saluda

Both Chargers non functional. One couldn’t accept payment, one was ‘loading’ endlessly.

Initially the charging cable I connected wasn't charging and the app was stating that it was occupied. I fixed this by putting the charger back into the holder and then checking the app again, which showed it was good to go. After that it started charging with no issues. It was about $.55 /kW. I charged for about 25 minutes.

A nice clean location to charge. These stations are at a Marathon gas station with a Subway attached. Charge and while your vehicle is dining, you too can have a bite at the Subway. The charge rate is good and they are reliable for the times that I have used them. Pricing is at my top end of acceptable, but the chargers are well maintained.

I’ve had luck with it every time. It’s the fastest in the region.

I set up my Shell Recharge account prior to going. Anytime a charger times out, it’s usually the payment method I’ve setup or there’s not enough money in my “wallet” thru the chargers app.

The charger required me to set up an account, which was fine.  After I did, it failed to connect twice.  Once it connected, it threw an error about 10 minutes later.  I had to switch to the other charger.  Both of them were rated for 150 kWh. But it wouldn't charge higher than 75.  Earlier in the day, I charged at 170 at an Electrify America station.  Unfortunately, this seems to be one of the better ones in the area.
