AI Overview

Drivers report frequent charging interruptions here — sessions stopping unexpectedly, sometimes without notification, and occasionally resulting in idle fees. Several drivers also note that individual chargers frequently go offline. The station was recently upgraded with new equipment and now uses CCS1 connectors only (CHAdeMO removed). Parking is free and illuminated with pull-in spaces; the chargers are located on the south side of the outlet mall near the Charles Cheesecake restaurant lot.

This station is why people hate EA. Stopped charging on its own twice. The first time it didn't notify me and added an hour to my trip to account for extra time charging. The second time it notified me, but only to tell me that because it decided to stop charging randomly, it was going to charge me idle fees for being plugged in without charging. Very frustrating experience.

This station is not without its standard issues for charging. Yes, the vehicle may take a few minutes to connect. Yes, the app can be a little bit glitchy. Over all, this is one of the better charging companies. You can read other reviews about not having any working chargers or charging issues. I have never seen this site completely shut down. I also noticed the review with charging issues appear to be Tesla vehicles. I recommend that you do your research before attempting to charge away from home. As far as the Curcle K on Cortaro, the user interface is lacking. Circle K is just getting into the charging game, so I would be a little cautious with them.

Station is open again with ten new 350 chargers, which had me concerned. Previously charging my Hyundai Ioniq 5 at EA was a crap shoot -- for whatever reason, the 350 chargers were always twice as slow as the 150s. Today's speed got up to 235, and connection and charging were quick and flawless. Just maybe EA has finally gotten its act together?!

Wish Electrify Amwrica would have informed Google they were closed and installing new chargers. The new chargers look great but they're literally wrapped in plastic sitting on pallets. Not optimal for trip planning when traveling a hundred miles in the desert. Good thing Circle K has high speed nearby

The likelihood of a fast, successful charge here is very low. In many cases, the fastest charging station is out of service or dealing with technical problems. Going forward, I’ll be using the Tesla Supercharger station down the road instead.
