Turkey Lake

Absolute garbage chargers. Turnpike authority should not allow these to be here. Major travel corridor they should put at least functional chargers in place. Should also find a way to start fining this company for non operational equipment. All non tesla charges aren’t great but these are by the worst I have ever encountered.

Don’t drive here if you need to charge using CCS. I wasn’t able to charge my car. I tried all the available stations and none worked. Luckily there’s enough charging stations in the city. I don’t know if the time of day has anything to do with why they’re not functioning. It’s currently 3:30 am.

QR code on BIG SCREEN takes you to download Shell App....but once logged into the shell app this location can not be found. The phone number on the BIG SCREEN is disconnected so you think this is a dead charge station or something........

Until you notice the teeny tiny QR code on the sticker above the BIG SCREEN giving you all the instructions. You have to download the ChargeUp App...and THEN YOU HAVE TO PREPAY (RIDICULOUS)....and then you can charge...

I hate these types of stations! Wish I could have avoided this time....I usually do because this location always seems like a sketchy charge station...and it is.

After you're done you have to press "confirm" on the station screen because who ever developed the software for this thing can't accept the charger being plugged into the base as completion of charge/transaction.

Great charging stop! Be sure to have the Charge up App. I got 150kW during my charge.

Terrible, They have been out of order for over a month and EV owners still see the availability in travel plans. Thankfully they finally posted they are upgrading these units. You can really get put in a difficult situation if you are depending on these charging stations to be working. Please note: This review does not include the Tesla Charging, only the CCS chargers.
