Tweed Heads, NSW Supercharger

Advertised as 250 but only giving us 78-82kW. There is only one other car here. Easy to find and easy to plug in. Definitely not 250kw (our battery pre conditioned and everything)

Edit: it's gone down to 49kW and we are the only car here....one star

Edit: Apparently this is normal behavior of the car managing the charge limit based on several factors and not the supercharger itself.

It says online that it is 250 kilowatt but this is a blatant lie, when I was there it took almost an hour to charge the car while it was giving me a maximum of 70kW (+/-5kW) however as soon as just 1 OTHER CAR parked & plugged in to another bay it slowed down to 20kW (+/-10 kW), so it doesn't matter how many cars are parked there & plugged in as it didn't speed up or slow down at all, as by the time i left, all of the bays were full and it was still only giving me 20kW (+/-10 kW)..🥵 😳 so I do not recommend this place for fast charging.

Pleanty of chargers in a fairly convenient spot, only if you know where to find them though! The signage really needs to be improved but for those who charge in the area regularly I would recommend!

Go up the ramp into the mall parking lot (turns are tight, so be careful). Supercharger stalls are easy to spot.

Really fast charger. Toilets and food available before 9pm. Located on the top level of the car park on the southern side. Go down Frances St and then turn left into the Tweed Mall car parking area then find the ramp going to the top level of the car park. Charging price is cheaper after 9pm. No access to Tweed Mall after 9pm. Carpark closes at 11pm.
