  No complaints about the charger. However, Mercure turns away customers from the charger to use the restrooms. Unheard of. Directed to the bakery, which states that its restrooms are reserved for its own customers. Avoid at all costs.

  Note regarding the location of the service stations: Service stations/parking lot with no shade. Not a blade of grass to sit on, 38 degrees Celsius today: the only place where we waited 20 minutes for our coffees, having to ask for them three times, was the Novotel. The Novotel seems very pleasant for a stay, and the staff are generally pleasant and friendly—except for the coffee service at the bar that day, which was clearly evasive.

  Almost never anyone there. Convenient, then. But no shady spots. The surrounding area is dirty. It smells like urine. As for the hotel, the staff seemed much more preoccupied with serving tables than offering coffee. Perhaps we just arrived at the wrong time. There are surely other superchargers to visit next time. 😉

  A very pleasant surprise during a charging stop at the Tesla charging station located at the Novotel Valence! While waiting, we discovered the Mathuzar restaurant right next door: a lovely setting, a relaxed atmosphere, and delicious food. A perfect moment to unwind while charging.   Beware it’s inside the Novotel parking lot 🅿️. Don’t miss the entrance door just before the gas station in front. The door will automatically open when you approach it. Great fast charging. Toilets available inside the hotel. Highly recommend.

  It's a good spot to Supercharge. While the chargers aren't the fastest available, they still charge quickly enough. There aren’t a lot of spots. We have been here before last year and we had to wait to use one, but most of the time when we went here there was always one free. There's a nearby hotel and restaurant where you can grab a bite, have a drink, and use their restrooms. The outdoor seating at the restaurant is beautiful and a great place to enjoy your meal.
