AI Overview
Drivers frequently report significantly slower-than-advertised charging speeds at this station, with many achieving well below half the rated capacity even on nominally 350 kW chargers. A few drivers report occasional stall failures. The chargers are located in front of the Walmart building near the garden center entrance and may be partially obscured by construction fencing. Parking is free pull-in style.

Some 150kw and 350kw plugs mixed. Used 350kw CCS at 11 pm with no other cars and pulled 152 kw at max. Sketchy at night time.

These charging stations stated they are 350kw but it never went above 66kw the entire 30 minutes that I was there on 8/28/2025. There was one other car charging there. Same peak charging rates.

If you’re looking for a slow charge then this is the place for you! If you need to have a good chunk charged then bring a tent because you’ll be here all day. 350kw = 11kw realistically. Also, there’s a dealership not far, so you can buy yourself a fuel vehicle to complete your trip and on the way back in a week you can pickup your electric car.

Two stations down only one does less than 50 kW. Edit, one of the “ultra fast” opened up and started working, but it wasn’t working at top speed. I was able to charge.

[UPDATE] There is quite a bit of construction going on here and you can't see the chargers in front of the garden center behind the construction fencing but as of January 2025, they are still there and working well. We were only able to use one of the 150kW units but we got almost consistent 165kW charging. The Walmart uses the parking lot up to the chargers to stock bulk items like rocks and mulch. This makes it nearly impossible for long vehicles to charge without blocking traffic. (update: Thanksgiving 2024) - This is a busy location, but we got on a 350kW station and got a maximum rate of 228kW. We got off early because someone pulled in when we were trying to top off to make our next stop a little further down the road. They replaced the rocks and mulch from the summer with parking spaces for pickup for Black Friday deals, so that works out better.
