Chargers are located in the parking, on the left side of Walmart.

Walmart 1358 - Walterboro, SC

The chargers here are getting old and degraded. They do not charge at 150 kw, much less 350. You cannot get more than 50 kw out of a couple of them. Electrify America also needs to expand this station. Four chargers are not enough. People also have no charging etiquette in South Carolina, blocking chargers with their trailers. I'd avoid this one and go to the Tesla superchargers across the street if your car is compatible with them. It'll be more expensive but worth it.

Only half the chargers are ever available because the parking spots aren’t set up well!

Each charger has two hookups, but the parking spots are set up directly in front of each charger… it says there are 8, but really only 4 are available.

No problems charging Friday March 27th. 23 minutes. 47 kwh energy delivered fast charging 350 for my Kia ev6 which allows high speed

Only one EA 350 Kw charger was working on 9/3/2025 but it was charging no higher than 33 kw (yes, 33) charging rate.  Added only 10 kWh to my MB EQE suv from 19 minutes of charging time.

The Electrify America charging station in Walterboro, South Carolina, is a solid choice for EV drivers. My charging experience was flawless—everything worked perfectly, and I achieved top speed without any issues. The station is well-maintained, and it’s conveniently located for a quick stop.

However, I’m giving it four stars because I witnessed two other drivers struggle to get their vehicles connected. They had trouble with the app and the chargers communicating properly, and I had to help them get started. While my charge was effortless, it seems that the app or system could use some improvements to ensure a smooth experience for everyone.

Overall, it’s a reliable station, and when everything is working as it should, the charging process is quick and efficient. With a bit more consistency in connectivity, it would easily deserve five stars.
