Located on the east side of the Walmart parking lot, near Citizens Bank.

Walmart 2222 (Tewksbury, MA)

The location is very ideal close to highway, easy to find. The chargers are located in the parking lot of Walmart. There are plenty of charges. I had gone there on a weekend and was able to start charging without a wait.

Charger system was a little complicated to use compared to the other charging stations I have used, but was eventually able to make the connection and start charging. The charging was fast enough for what I wanted. Good fast charging.

The only disappointment was the limit of 85% charging. I have used a few different charging stations in this area and other areas and none had a charging limit of 85%. So far this is the only charging station I have seen a sign of charging limit.

The price is a little expensive then what I have seen in the area.

I could understand enforcing the 85% limit if the place was ever busy, but rarely more than 1-2 cars. Charger works fine with CCS charger. The app works sometimes, but it usually accepts wireless forms of payment. I'd say it could be because there's a discount for using the apps vs. the full rate with Apple or Google Pay, but it's likely just a software issue.

This worked fine, but they have an 85% charge limit now as of Aug 2025. Even though nobody else was waiting, my car could not charge beyond 85%. Not even after I called customer service. I was going to shop quickly at Walmart while my charge topped up to 95% or so, but nope, Electrify America stops that.

Apparently their app will tell you, but Google Maps won’t. So here’s the warning: do not come here if you hope to charge past 85%, like we wanted to on our long car trip.

I will try to avoid them as much as possible now. Do other companies do this?

Saved me! Open 24 hours, 350kW CCS; I had about 6% charge left late at night, many miles from home, and I was able to recharge in just minutes (instead of hours).

From what I have read online, there is supposed to be an adapter for Tesla vehicles. Hopefully the broken charger had been replaced or repaired.
The area is brightly lit at night. Cameras are probably there as well. People were using it while I visited this Walmart.
