AI Overview
Chargers are located in the middle of the Walmart parking lot. Multiple drivers report inconsistent performance and reliability issues, including chargers that fail to start or repeatedly disconnect mid-session, and chargers delivering significantly slower speeds than their rated capacity. Access can be difficult for vehicles with rear-mounted charging ports due to the parking lot layout.

Several chargers don’t work, and the 350 kw that does only goes at 130-ish over several visits.

Plugged into 3, got a confirmation that my charge started, a couple minutes later it kicked off. Plug 4 did not have a working credit card machine, not sure if the app would have worked. Plug 5 had 2 plugs. Another lady was charging. I plugged my car in but her charging info never left the screen. Did not seem there was anything I could do that would not stop her charging. She left. I started. Got the confirmation that I was charging and then got kicked off a few min later. Perhaps it was my car. By this time somebody was successfully charging at plug 3 that had initially kicked me off. Went down the road and used my adapter and the Tesla charge station. Worked perfect. Shouldn’t have wasted so much time at Walmart

I had a good experience here. There is a 350 charger here so if you can take advantage of that be sure to look at the labels on the chargers. I did the 150 before looking and it worked great. When I go back through hope to try the 350. This is in the front of Walmart as you come into the parking lot. My GPS was slightly inaccurate so hopefully this will help you. All in all very good experience.

As of today, it was an expensive 56 cents/kw or 42 cents/kw for members. The chargers don’t allow for wallet NFC tap pay. The machines are very slow taking 2 minutes to authorize. They need a more Tesla Supercharger style approach.

My first experience with a charging station. Pretty easy and painless. First time quick charging with CHAdeMO on my 2018 Nissan Leaf. Charged from 40% to 88% in 36 minutes. Worked out perfect. Walked over to Firehouse Subs to eat while charging. Once lunch was done, went back to the Leaf and went home.
