Located on the northeast side of the Walmart parking lot.

Walmart 5073 - Covington, WA

Congested area, but convenient for Walmart. Charger on the right is slow - 35kW for me, when I normally get 150kW. Also lots of people trying to charge up to near 100%, so there is a line.

Being across the online order pickup area, it is really congested and difficult to maneuver and park. Some people have no respect and parking their gas vehicles in the electric charging spots, as it being close to the Walmart entrance. They are also leaving the empty carts in the charging spots. Location is not at all convenient.

Charger #3 consistently does not disengage after charge is complete. Unit won’t unlock until idle time has expired.

The Electrify America EV station in Covington, WA, located in the Walmart parking lot, has consistently provided a reliable and convenient charging experience. Over the past several months, I’ve relied on this station multiple times, and it has never let me down. The chargers are always functional, and I’ve never encountered a situation where all stalls were occupied—availability has been a non-issue for me, which is a huge plus.

The station offers a variety of charging speeds, and the process of starting and stopping a session is simple, whether using the app or a credit card. The proximity to Walmart and nearby businesses makes it easy to grab a snack or run errands while charging, which I appreciate.

I’m giving it four stars instead of five due to one minor issue: the parking lot can feel a bit shady at times. While I haven’t had any negative experiences myself, it’s worth noting that the area occasionally attracts some loiterers, which could make some people uncomfortable.

Despite this, the Covington Electrify America station is a dependable option for EV owners in the area. It’s a relief to know that I can count on it when I need to top off my battery, and the reliability alone makes it worth recommending. If you’re in the Covington area, this station won’t disappoint.

All are working, middle one is fast but other two are little slow. Middle one charged 89% in 26 mins but the right one looks slow and charged 85% in 35 mins. The price is 0.48$ per kw before tax. Easy to use, just plug the cable and pay using your card and it will automatically start charging. Good for other brand cars like kia, hyundai etc.
