Walmart 5320 - Greensboro, NC

Closed. Under reconstruction. Refurbishment has been completed, 11/19/25 so I've changed my earlier negative rating. A couple of miles and turns after exiting interstate

CHADEMO working. Charged 2019 Nissan Leaf 22-63% in 1 hour. Started at 16 kw, ended at 11 kw, so quite slow, but Walmart is here. Also the CHADEMO spot is in the shade!

All the chargers were well maintained and easy to access. That section of the parking lot doesn't have any shade but otherwise it is good.

All chargers were working great as of 12/18/24!
An electric fire truck was also plugged in to the 150 kW station on the far right while we charged.
2020 Kia Niro EV

These charging stations were easy to use, and plenty to choose from. They have 3 different types of chargers, CHAdeMO (Nissan Leaf), a level 2, and several level 3 chargers.

It took about 20 minutes to charge to 80% and cost just under $4.00.

It helped that we downloaded the app ahead of time to pay for session.
