AI Overview

The chargers here experience frequent reliability issues. Multiple drivers report that several of the 10 pedestals are often offline or non-operational; some chargers have shut down mid-session. Charging speeds are frequently slower than advertised — several drivers report significantly reduced output on advertised higher-power units. Parking is free and well-lit with pull-through spaces suitable for trailers. The station is located in the Walmart lot near the pickup section.

It took me like 4 tries to start changing today and imma be honest it's hard to say if the issue was the station, my oldass car, or my fault. 🙂🙃

It doesn’t accept any kind of payment. I tried card and tap.

Passing through. Number 9 was supposed to be 350kw. It was less than 100. It worked though. I’d go for a Tesla supercharger if I had to do it again.

10 charging pedestals. They all work. Fed by a 1.5 Mega Watt transformer. $0.31 per kilowatt hour before taxes is about the equivalent of $3.24 per gallon gasoline if your old car gets 30 miles per gallon, gasoline is $3 per gallon, and your electric car gets 3 miles per kilowatt hour, after taxes. Note: Many cars, like my Chevy Bolt, cannot charge on the two highest power pedestals because our battery cooling systems are too small. March 19, 2024 - Four of the pedestals showed "In Use" on the ElectrifyAmerica phone application, with no vehicles at them. I finally got one to work after figuring out that the previous customer had not pushed "Finished". The phone application still did not update; so, I had to use the phone's Near Field connection by tapping the pedestal. Then it charged as expected. I have observed other customers experiencing similar frustrations.

Great setup. Easy charge ( my first one)! And with the Hyundai Ioniq easy peasy. Thanks!... Ugg so yay and no. Lol it's been a crapshoot since October when they overhauled the system, slowed fast chargers, and the app got a lil funky. But over all.. I'm still happy. Update.. the chargers are still slow comparatively to August of las year (2022) word from ABB ( the maintainer) is that new chargers are rolling out and a true 350 KWH will be among the 150's and that the fastest chargers are to come. Tesla all charge chargers are being done in NM by 2024.
