Chargers are located at the left corner in front of Walmart (when standing in front of the store and looking out to the parking lot).

DOES NOT work. I had to try 3 of the cables before one worked for about 15 minutes before “error.”

If you have about 20/30 miles left in your vehicle try some of the below options in other cities…

South options for charging: Macon: off of the Riverside drive exits and Zebulon exits, Warner Robins: Buc-ee's (fast and reliable).

North options for charging: the flying J at exit 201 (fast and reliable), the tanger outlets at exit 212.

This station puts a $50 hold on your account and does NOT accept Apple Pay or Apple Cards.

The spaces are TINY. SUVs and Trucks WILL struggle to access the charging cables if any other cars are also charging.

Avoid this location if you are in a rush. You will likely have to wait for someone charging to disconnect to use one of the two out of 4 stations that work.

The Electrify America location in Forsyth has historically been one of the more problematic stations I’ve visited, with frequent issues related to charger-to-vehicle communication and general reliability. On several occasions, I’ve encountered errors that made charging difficult or impossible, which has been a consistent frustration for many EV drivers using this site.

However, during my visit yesterday, I was pleasantly surprised to see that all four charging stations were functioning properly. For the first time in a while, everything worked smoothly from start to finish. It appears that Electrify America has finally given some much-needed attention to this location, and the improvements over the past week are noticeable and appreciated.

While the recent performance is a step in the right direction, there is still room for growth—especially in the area of customer service. Electrify America’s support lines remain difficult to reach, and drivers often find themselves without assistance during technical issues. Reliable customer service is essential for EV users, particularly when stations malfunction or travelers are far from home.

Overall, I’m glad to see Forsyth’s chargers operating correctly this week, and I’m cautiously optimistic that the progress will continue. With consistent maintenance and better customer support, this location could become far more dependable for EV drivers passing through.

We were the only car so no wait and charged up 23 to 90% in 23 minutes.  The Walmart has a decent Subway for lunch.  On the return trip two of the chargers were broken and you can’t charge two cars on the same charger even though there’s two cables.  I had no choice but to use a 150 charger after waiting 20 minutes for the other car to charge.  I saw two people drive off waiting for the working 350 charger.  Altogether what should have been a 20 minute charge took about an hour.

We are pretty new to ev travel so I’m not really sure sure what to base a review on except the ability to charge. We were gassed up in about 20 minutes from 50%. We were able to walk to the Walmart that shares a parking lot with. Nothing or no one seemed sketchy here and the place was super simple to get in and out of.

This EV charging station has given me issues both time I have been here.
First time: I had to call customer support because of technical issues.
Second time: today Sep. 2, 2024, the 350 kW station only charged at a pace of 29 kW. (Station: 100230-02). When you’re trying to get home at 9:30 PM, and you have a slow charge, you find time to write a crappy review.

Avoid this station if you can.
