Located on the right side of the Walmart parking lot near the pick up area.

1 port was broke, waited for a brief moment then eventually left. Convenient in Walmart parking lot with waffle house, jack n box, and chic fila nearby. Kinda crowded location

PLAN TO WAIT at least an hour for a spot

If I can give this charging station less than a star I would. I can NEVER find a readily station available unless I’m there past midnight. It’s in a sketchy area so I wouldn’t recommend going that late. Plus most of stations give issues with charging. It’s so annoying. Also, there was an abandoned car parked in a spot taking up space and didn’t get towed until 9 months later….

Parking lot is well lit but the chargers charge considerably slower than they should.  I averaged 230 kw at other electrify America stations were here I'm only getting 130 kw.  I'll likely use the one out in Katie in the future.  What I lose in the drive I make up in charge speed.

Fast charging really is fast. Changed my car from 25% to 90% in 30 mts. Walmart is a nice place to hang out.
I will say, fast charging is expensive. Costs $30 for 54Kwh approx 200 miles. . That's the cost of a tank of gas which would give me 400 miles.

I spent two hours trying to charge my car.  One of the stations was not working.  Think twice before buying an electric car in Houston. Otherwise you are going to end up meeting for hours other electric car owners🙂. Houston needs more electric car chargers.
