Wherstead, UK Supercharger

This is not a Tesla supercharger owned by Tesla- therefore you can’t use your free supercharging miles.

Slightly tucked away to left of services.

Superchargers - at a price. The equipment is Tesla v4 250kW supercharger - we recognised the shape immediately - but the branding is EV OTM. The four chargers were not quite where the Tesla satnav suggested: you have to enter the EG On The Move service station and they are in an area to the left of the fossil fuel pumps.

Everything works exactly as for a Tesla supercharger: just plug in and off it goes. That's because the charger also uses the Tesla communications network. But the cost was a lot higher at 75p/kWh (charging at 11am). So we charged the absolute minimum we needed to continue our journey and left.

It's a well-located charger but the price would need to be more reasonable for us to use it again.
