Best charging station I’ve used so far. I never had to wait too long to charge also they recently added three more fast charger. Safe location with a Popeyes and supermarket in the parking lot as well.

I’ve used the EVgo charging station in the WinCo parking lot in Mesa three different times, and each experience has been smooth and reliable. The location is convenient and easy to access right off the main parking area, with plenty of room to pull in and plug in without feeling cramped. Being at WinCo is a big plus. It makes it easy to knock out grocery shopping while the car charges, which is exactly how public fast charging should work. Most importantly, all three sessions started without issue, charged at expected speeds, and ended cleanly in the app. No glitches, no payment problems, no communication errors with the vehicle. After dealing with inconsistent performance at some other networks, that kind of reliability really stands out. For anyone in the Mesa area looking for a dependable fast charge, this EVgo location has been consistently solid in my experience. Convenient, functional, and hassle free.

I’ve always had a success charging at this station. The only one thing would be their parking space situation. It’s really tight and not very convenient to charge. I have a Chevron bolt and my charger is in front on the driver side. Today I went to charge in the evening around 7:30. There was an older black man there in a dark color Tesla on the far right charger. And while driving up, he had his door wide open so I park right next to him, but unfortunately, not close enough to where I can use the right charger. So I ended up using the middle charger feeling like I don’t really need to be intrusive in his space. The left charger was also taken up by another vehicle. About 10 minutes another car drives up and park right near him on the right side. And he started complaining and getting upset because he felt like he had to leave so the car that recently pull up can charge. I had my window rolled up but can still briefly heard him yelling intentionally aggressive words about me that I should have been the one to move. Not sure what his problem was. But I end up, rolling my window down and yell out the window, telling him that that charger does not reach my car. He just started bickering some more about something totally different than what he was screaming about, then left. I felt very uncomfortable after that and threatened that he instigated something for the other driver to dislike me. Not sure if it’s because I’m Asian or a girl and he fell like he had to blame someone. And not expect me to say anything. All in all I feel like a lot of men that I run into that throws this big tantrum needs to go and get a mental check up or needs to get locked up, walking around aggressively in public isn’t safe for everyone else.

The 350KW is always broken and never works. There's always a line here. Last night took me two and a half hours to get a charge as there was a line of people waiting to charge.??????? Sometimes they are down????? This one has been broken for 3 weeks.

⭐⭐ I drive a 2011 Nissan Leaf and used the Chadamo charge port. My experience with the Evgo charging station near the Costco in Gilbert, Arizona was a mixed bag. Initially, I was relieved to find a quick charging option to get me home. However, things took a turn when I returned to find the machine refusing to disconnect. My attempt to resolve the issue by calling the provided 1-800 number left me on hold for a frustrating 10 minutes, which was far from ideal. Adding to the chaos was a nearby commotion that I couldn't quite decipher – either gunshots or windows shattering. Feeling uneasy, I decided to hang up and call back. The second attempt yielded quicker results, with a representative answering within a minute. Fortunately, they were able to remotely disconnect and stop the charger in just 2 minutes. Overall, the experience was exasperating. If the situation had been resolved promptly, I would have avoided the whole disastrous and unsafe scene across the lot. While I appreciate the eventual assistance, the initial delay and the unnerving situation nearby made the overall experience far from satisfactory.
