AI Overview
This is an older Supercharger with shared power between chargers. Drivers frequently report charging speeds of 35–45 kW rather than the advertised maximum, especially during busy periods. The site is a gravel lot with no marked parking bays; chargers have short cables and limited reach. The location floods occasionally. A hotel next door provides access to toilets; no other facilities are on-site.

Tiny sandy area with a couple of old Tesla chargers with extremely short cables (to short for my EV no matter which way round I would try and park my car). Also no other facilities such as toilets or a shop. Definitely a miss.

This charging site regularly has charging rate of 35-45 kWh so do not be fooled by the 150kwh label. This is not a supercharger site. I try to walk my dog when I charge and I would get merely 15-20kwh in 30 mins (car is less than 75% charged at the end). Quite frustrating but it is the nearest I can access - when it’s not closed due to flooding. So come with low expectations

A very busy site, a queue formed which wasn't helped by 2 of the chargers not working...leads left loose and dangling across the ground was a giveaway. It wasn't helped by a BMW car parked at a angle whilst every other car was straight, meaning another charger was inaccessible. Maybe not entirely the drivers fault as its a gravel yard so no parking bay lines/markers (just a need for common sense). Drivers followed an appropriate etiquette though so no major drama whilst waiting, but compared to others I have used which have been excellent this fell way below the normal standard.

A personal favourite but not without compromise. This is an older site with shared power between chargers and also a max of only 138kw. As a busy location the site can also become power limited leading to speeds of around 45kw only. Tesla drivers would be better off elsewhere, by MG4 drivers like me can make do. Convenient for M4, especially since Tesla sites nearer Heathrow all have eye watering parking charges.

Practical and easy access. No services on site but you can use the toilets at the hotel next door. Always plenty of spots to charge. OPEN TO NON TESLA cars.
