Yass, NSW Supercharger

This station is always available and we'll maintained. Never had a problem with it. Non tesla charging is tap and pay too. Excellent work Tesla and Yass.

I’d recommend bypassing this station during busy periods. (Holiday’s or long weekends)It’s a 10-minute detour off the highway (20 mins round trip), and the current experience isn't worth the extra drive.
I faced these issues :
• Hardware Failure: The button on the charging handle is broken. It won't trigger the charge port to open or unlock the cable, meaning you have to do it manually from inside the car or the app.
• Throttled Charging: Even after waiting for a stall, the app showed speeds were "limited by charger." It was extremely slow, likely due to high site demand and power sharing.
• High Congestion: Expect a significant wait for a free stall during peak hours.

Between the detour time, the queue, and the slow charging rate, you’re looking at a massive delay to your trip. Only use this as a last resort if you're low on range and cannot make it to next station.

P.S: people should be thanking Tesla for changing stations.. all these other EV’s have No charging stations 😆

This Tesla Supercharger site in Yass is clean, easy to access, and well laid out, making it a stress-free stop on a road trip. Multiple stalls are available, and spacing is good, so even when it’s busy you don’t feel cramped. It’s positioned perfectly for a proper break while charging, rather than just a quick stop.

A big plus is the nearby hotel, which makes this Supercharger stand out. You can grab a proper meal and even play a game of snooker while the car is charging, which makes the time pass effortlessly. It turns charging into something you actually enjoy instead of waiting around watching percentages tick up.

Despite Google listing this site as 300 kW, the on-site transformer spec sheet shows the post-DC output is rated at 250 kW. Nonetheless, it’s still very fast in real-world use, delivering strong charging speeds and getting you back on the road quickly.

Overall, it’s a reliable and well-thought-out Supercharger stop. With good facilities, fast charging, and things to do while you wait, this Yass location removes any range anxiety and keeps the journey comfortable and relaxed.

Excellent charging station. Clean and relaxing. No pressure to hurry up.

5km off the beaten track but pleasant drive through the lovely town.

12 chargers, all working, and no wait in school holidays. But it's over 5km off the M1, partly through a 50km/hr zone and the chargers are in a carpark with no shelter, nowhere to sit, no public toilet. There is a pub next to the carpark.
