York, PA Supercharger

The only supercharger near York, PA. Took about an hour charge from 4% to 90%.

After a pedestrian crossing, it’s a small mall with small restaurants. And the other side of the pedestrian crossing is Glatfelter Insurance Group’s small park with lake and trail, very nice! The sheetz is kind of slow, but with in-door and out-door seating. Seems there is no waiting over-charge even after charging is complete.

Do not go here!! - there are 8 chargers, however Sheetz allows 10 minute parking by the general public at the charging spaces. Because of this, I can’t recommend the location because ultimately not all 8 chargers would be available to use, even though the chargers themselves are free. So even though the Tesla shows how many chargers are free before arrival, this wouldn’t necessarily be accurate once you get there. Disappointed that Sheetz would allow this. This is the first supercharger location that I’ve seen that allow gas vehicles to park in the spaces meant for electric vehicles to charge at. Makes no sense.

Don’t have one yet? Well as for me and my family we have saved a lot purchasing this vehicle. Can’t wait till we get our home charger installed but this one is very convenient for us glad to have near us. I’ve never had to wait at all for a spot. 🔌🔋⚡️

Clean, conveniently located right off of 83 and attached to a Sheetz that’s open 24 hours a day for roads snacks coffee and bathrooms. There are 8 V2 150 kWh stalls including one for cars towing trailers. I’d rate this supercharger an 8/10 because it’s not a V3 250 kWh charger and it doesn’t have a trash can and window washing station at the chargers.
