As a non-tesla owner, these chargers worked great. You do need the Tesla app with information and credit card entered into the app. Not obvious, but once you login and unlock a charger, you have to hold a small button down on the handle of the charger and you will hear it click, changing over to the converter plug. Now the whole converter will release from the charger and not just the Tesla plug.

Great stop, and got over 220KW. Meijer is easily accessable and makes for a great walk n shop kind of stop. My only complaint is that service can be lost in Meijer, which then took away the ability for me to check my charge/ time I had left to charge. Regardless, great stop, great amenities, and easy highway accessibility.

Stopped at this location several times with a non-Tesla and it works flawlessly each time.  Meijer is very convenient and a McDonald’s is on the opposite side of the parking lot.   Some trash and grocery carts near the charging stations.

I have a Chevy Blazer EV and I love that the chargers here have the adapter built in. It is fast for the first 30 minutes then it is just like other DC chargers. If you do not have a Tesla you may want to consider the Non-Tesla membership. It makes the cost of using the network much lower.

Update (March 2022) It appears some of the issues have been resolved. I am now seeing speeds up to 600mi/hr at 125kw. Hopefully this is the new standard for this station.

This station appears to be getting worse. Upon opening, chargers would max out at around 400 mi/hr. About a month later that was down to roughly 275 mi/hour. Now the best I have seen is 130 mi/hr at 40kw. Have tested multiple stalls each time, at varying levels of charge, with and without preconditioning the battery.
